Like any other animals, horse is to be tamed and trained before utilizing for human service. Animals like horse and elephants were part of military power since ancient times and both these animals were used in wars because of their adjustable nature with human beings. Apart from this, horses were used for carrying human beings from place to place in olden days before industrial revolutions as they were considered as fastest movers.

But, in present day world where technology has given us various options to move from place to place in a quickest time, we don’t need to take the help of any animals including horses for our movement. Even then our association with horses is still intact and they are being used for recreational activities like horse race, horse riding for joy etc. Since training is essential for both you and your horse, taking it to horse training clinic is a wise move to make it ready to accept your commands without ant reluctance. During the horse training session, along with the horse you will also be benefited in many ways. So find a nearby horse training clinic and take your horse for sessions to make it more cooperative in all aspects of riding.

There is one city in the southern part of India in the state of Karnataka, called Mysore.  It is a beautiful city which was once a royal province and has the memories of royalty even to this date.  The city has a beautiful place which was once the residence of erstwhile kings and has been maintained beautifully to this date.  It is not uncommon to watch workers in the old royal uniforms going about their work on important festive occasions.  Millions of tourists from all corners of the world visit this city and admire the beauty of this city and this palace is one of the main tourist attractions.

There is one festival called “Dussehra “which normally falls in the month of October every year and a grand procession takes place from the palace and passes through the city.  It is a spectacular event and there re many cultural shows during this time.  People rush from their homes to see this even and all the important are lined with innumerable people who gather to watch the procession.  During this time, the royal horsemen decorate their horses with velvet and all kinds of adornments and ride their horses as a part of the procession with the equipment.  It is a real treat to watch this spectacular event.  No resident of Mysore misses this event during Dussehra.

When people are doing the same thing day after day will take a toll on anyone’s life. When people become adults some of them usually end up in a routine that they find hard to get out of to make time for life’s little pleasures. In some cases people who are in a routine where they are working all the time can eventually get sick. Most doctors will tell people to take a vacation or a break from their everyday lifestyle. And when we think about a vacation the thoughts of more work come to mind.

A great way to take a break would be to spend a weekend doing outdoor activities. Since many people are in an office most of the day taking a camping trip would be a complete change of pace. The outdoors has many things to offer and most of them are free and easy. For example a fishing trip is fun and relaxing. It is also something anyone can do with their whole family. It does not take a lot of time to plan and all a person needs is fishing polls, bait and a boat. Some people will fish from land as well. It does not take much to get away from the everyday, just a little planning.

Kids love animals especially the ones they can walk up to and pet, feed or ride. Not all animals are as friendly as the next, but one animal most people enjoy being around is a horse. Many kids also love horses and usually will ask their parents to buy them one for Christmas or their birthday. Unless a parent has a farm or at least a stable to keep a horse in then some of those kids will not get one.

Fortunately there are zoos families can bring their children to. A zoo is usually little to no cost and the children can see all kinds of animals even horses. Some zoos will have a petting zoo so the kids can interact with the animals by petting and feeding them. Some petting zoos will even let the children go horseback riding. Horseback riding is exciting to children and adults, since there is no age limit to ride a horse everyone in the family can have fun and share a moment together.

When my daughters had aged sufficiently, I decided to take them for a ride on ponies at a place I had seen advertised in the newspaper. The girls were extremely excited, to say the least, That the day long promised had arrived.
We got there and sadly I only saw Donkeys, but the girls ran quickly and wanted to ride. I simply did not have the heart to tell them the difference, so they rode. Then I spied a circle of ponies, but saw a long line waiting, too, whereas my daughters had the freedom to the donkey’s all to themselves. They rode around and around, enjoying their day alot.
We drove home and I was silent wondering wether I ought to explain the subtle differences between ponies And donkeys before they played with their my little pony dolls. but I decided that
It wasn’t necessary and for all I know they think ponies all have items stamped on their butt, magnets in their hoofs, and designer colors.
Now just to decide if I ought to tell the truth to my husband.
