In spite of lack of facility and space to pursue a costly hobby like horse riding, still we can see many people who keep horses and pamper them in their stable without bothering about the expenditure incurred for it. These people feel proud of their horses and make no compromise with respect to its nourishment. They feel a unique pleasure and pride in riding on the back of these horses and use good quality accessories for their maintenance.

Each and every accessory used on the body of the horse and used by the rider are carrying their own significance with respect to safety of the rider and comfort of both the horse as well as rider. A substandard quality accessory may lead to accident to both horse and rider. An unfit saddle on the body of your horse will give a chance to accident at any time because it will keep the horse in uncomfortable position and force it to behave in a mad way. Accessories like helmet, boot and pants are meant for the safety of the rider where as accessories like saddle, harness, bridles and rugs are used for horses and to enjoy your horse riding to its full extent you must use proper accessories.

While going off for horseback riding you must take care of the safety measures. Horseback riding helmet is the most essential part of preparation but there are some points that should be kept in mind before buying one for the purpose. The first thing is that you must know the reasons behind wearing a helmet while riding the horseback.

Wearing a helmet will save you from serious injury if you fall from a horse. Be sure that the helmet fits you properly because it will work only when it is perfectly fit. You will get various types of helmets today that are light in weight, cooler and quite comfortable to wear too.

Make sure that the helmet you are buying is safe and is approved from the department of testing and materials. The helmet should cover your forehead and sit exactly above your eyebrows. There should be space for a finger in between the strap and your chin. The helmet should cover the back of your head completely. Keeping these points in mind you can enjoy horseback riding without any tension.

If you want to go off for some exhilaration and do something exciting, you can go along with your family on a horseback riding vacation. Even if you are not well trained in it you will enjoy it as a new and innovative experience. And the vacation and its memories will never fade out, as also it will completely refresh you.

But before going for the vacation you must remember and consider some tips so that you are safe and secure while riding the horseback. It is better to attend some class or a course and learn the basics of riding a horse. This is not essential but this will definitely help you to take precautions and help you ride your best.

If you have planed to join a camp or class, remember that they will not give you much time so you must be sure enough and confident as well as well-prepared for the class. This will help you analyze whether you get terrified as you go closer to the horse or not. After this go off for the vacation and enjoy your fullest.

Kids love animals especially the ones they can walk up to and pet, feed or ride. Not all animals are as friendly as the next, but one animal most people enjoy being around is a horse. Many kids also love horses and usually will ask their parents to buy them one for Christmas or their birthday. Unless a parent has a farm or at least a stable to keep a horse in then some of those kids will not get one.

Fortunately there are zoos families can bring their children to. A zoo is usually little to no cost and the children can see all kinds of animals even horses. Some zoos will have a petting zoo so the kids can interact with the animals by petting and feeding them. Some petting zoos will even let the children go horseback riding. Horseback riding is exciting to children and adults, since there is no age limit to ride a horse everyone in the family can have fun and share a moment together.

I loved to ride horse back, and did so quite often with my friend Connie, It was amusing to us all how she ran. She had endurance and a genuine appreciation of the sport.

Then track season came and Connie had a Certain Gallop to her stride which I naturally assumed came from her horseback riding. She also had very long hair that shimmered in the wind in waves like a horse’s tail when she ran. She soon became known as Connie the Horse girl.

As if being called out to as the Horse girl wasn’t bad enough, Her favorite food was Apples. To top matters off, someone claimed to see her drinking from a trough after a race. And it was also claimed that she snacked in the locker room on grain.

Now I am unsure if Connie actually did any of this, but she was a great riding partner and friend, horse girl literally or not.
